”My wife and I had a great stay at this property for a 4-day visit to the Lake District and could not have been happier. It's located on a quiet street of homes and guest houses, but is a short walk to the center of Keswick as well as my new favorite movie theater, the Alhambra Cinema, and our now-beloved local, the Dog & Gun Pub. It's also walkable to hikes at Skiddaw and Catbells. Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a nice bed for sleeping after an active day. Our...

”Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking.”

”Bit dated”

”If booking a room with a city I would suggest requesting this as we didn’t know we had to and ended up with a view of catering extractor fans and air conditioning units. Also the room we stayed in was a card fob which you would atomically think upon leaving your room and the door shut g it would lock and you would need to key card to gain entry up until this open g we hadn’t realised our room had been unlocked when we went out on hikes and meals meaning anyone could have helped themselves to our...

”Did exactly what it needed to do. Free parking for the van within walking distance. Lovely food and great staff.”

”The room was clean beside a blood stain on one of the duvets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue as the road was being resurfaced, but the staff did tell us where the best place to park was. The breakfast was excellent, it really set us up for a day in the hills. Overall a good value room for visiting the Lakes.”

”Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.”

”Host was very friendly and helpful. He even packed a cakes for us when we checked out. Thanks.”

”Great location, friendly communicative owners. Good spot for 6 people in Keswick!”

”Brilliant break, lovely lodge in great condition with modern features and a new bathroom, also in a really perfect location. Would 100% recommend and be happy to stay there again. ”

”Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.”

”Comfortable cottage that was well equipped and really clean. The cottage was in a great location”

”Clean rooms x lovely beds . Warm and toasty . Very central - really enjoyed it .”

”Clean and very comfortable property very close to Keswick. Cute little village with plenty of walks and fells nearby.”

”A well-equipped 2 bed apartment in Keswick town centre, but quiet - apart from emptying the bottle bins from the pub next door! It was clean, tidy, well laid out with good quality linen and towels. There were one or two extra utensils that would have been handy in the kitchen, but it was well stocked with all the consumables you often have to buy from scratch. Again, a minor point, but expecting departing guests to strip all bedding and bag up it all up with towels etc for the laundry under...

”Wasn’t able to communicate with the host before the arrival, but in the end I didn’t have any problems. The flat is centrally located, spacious and clean. While the kitchen is fully equipped, it would be appreciated to provide some toilet essentials such as soap and shampoo. Overall, I’d recommend it”
