”Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

”The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

”Fantastic stay! The room was wonderful and thoughtfully catered for my dog. Often, pet-friendly rooms can feel a bit second-rate compared to others, but this was absolutely not the case. The room was spotless, cozy, and warm — complete with a dog bed, treats, bowls, and even poo bags, which was such a nice touch. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The staff were outstanding — so helpful, friendly, and welcoming to both me and my dog. He was treated like a...

”Makes you wonder if the place is called bed & breakfast, but there's no breakfast??? Bathroom was renovated, but outcome was something in between poor and terrible. No hooks or space to put your stuff and the sink was blocking the toilet! Had to do some joga in order to do your business. On the other hand great location, the room had all necessities and the price was adequate. Would stay again.”
