”This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows.”

”Sofa bed was uncomfortable. The property would work better for a couple rather than a family. Otherwise property was nice and in a good location.”

”Probably best to avoid this old and worn out hotel. Poorly maintained. Holes in the carpet. Shower curtain had holes. Mattresses are lumpy. Received fine for parking in their car park and they were unable to do anything. Even though the parking was included in the stay.”

”The staff were lovely especially the young man who checked us in and explained everything we needed. The food was fantastic we ate at the pub that night and stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic .”

Tidiness and service were of a high standard. Breakfast gets our ten points out of ten, always suiting our needs. For us everything in the town was within a convenient walking distance with attractive routes to choose from.”

”Our second stay at GMH, we stayed in the hideaway, which was very spacious and had a great bathroom. Breakfast is great and cooked to order. The only disappointment was that they couldn't accommodate us for an evening meal. Tables were laid out and reserved. But there were plenty of tables free, in the bar and the nook (think it's called that), which we thought could have been laid for us as we were guests. So we had to wander around to find somewhere to eat before our show. Never mind”
