"My “compact double” was huge, it had even a separate dressing space! The room must have been redone quite lately as everything was so nice and everything was kept very clean. Service was impeccable during my whole stay, in the bar, the breakfast and especially in the reception. The location is the best possible; by the sea and buses leave 50 m from the doorstep. The only thing that disturbed me was that the room was pretty warm although I slept with the windows open. There was a fan, but at night I couldn’t find a wall socket to plug it in close to the bed. "

"This hotel was very convenient if you travel by train. I was unlucky to arrive in the middle of the railway strike, so I had no advantage of the location. The hotel is a quite standard or a bit under a 4 star hotel. I did miss a hand shower and at least a shower cap, when the only shower is coming from above. The service, breakfast and bar was ok. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either. I could stay hear again. The price is less than other of this standard."

"Excellent beds and superfriendly staff, spacious room and bathroom. Within a reasonable walking distance from the center and sights. Only one local bus (77) runs past every 45 min. City sightseeing bus (15£ day) every 30 min. Breakfast was terrible for us non-Brits, I'd pay more to have a breakfast buffet with more choice. Room was super hot, no air conditioning and the windows could be opened only for about 15 cm."
