”What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. The thoughtfully decorated rooms and halls and staircases – breakfast at your door – the charm of staying in a piece of old Providence. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough and do not see myself staying anywhere else next time I’m in town. ”

”Just loved the place! It’s a really nice historic house with luxurious but homey rooms. My room even had a fully equipped kitchen! Staff was super friendly and the finishing touch comes from a dozen small things such as the complimentary cookies. :) The only slight minus is the location, which in a perfect world would be a bit more central, but Providence as a city is very walkable so everything is a reasonable walk, a short drive or a cheap cab ride away anyway. Would definitely stay at this...

”Beautiful. Very welcoming . Great staff. I felt at home. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and lemon water waiting in room, Quiet, windows open. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Stay here!!! It is amazing and historical. Painted ceilings and tooled leather in dining area. I thought it was wall paper until I asked. Beautiful! Great staff. Very welcoming and accommodating!”

”With the traffic in Boston, you can't hardly beat the location. We loved the ease of driving to get to anywhere. Wifi signal was a bit poor in places and we weren't sure what the extra keys were for, but it was a great place to stay!”

”It's in a basement and there was a door to another part of the basement that was locked and we could see a light that was on all night on the other side. It was very quiet though, great if you just need somewhere to sleep.”

”Overall, this property was a good fit and great value for our family trip. We had plenty of space. Nelson was a great host and very quick to answer any and all questions. Our only wish was that there was cable or ability to watch TV at night. The host mentioned there was a satellite only and there were only 2 channels that came in from the satellite, but they were mostly garbled and unwatchable.”
