”The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. ”Clean room comfortable bed. Tea coffee and biscuits provided and bottled water by bedside. Didn’t eat at hotel as out and didn’t book Breakfast as only staying one night. Pleasantly surprised and can see hotel has been refurbished. Would stay again if needed room in that area. More information could be provided on parking and where to access barrier before arrival That would help”

”Seriously unimpressed by the lack of help and assistance from the host to cancel, with nearly a weeks notice prior to our intended stay. We also found that some of the information provided on the property listing at the time of booking to be somewhat questionable, suggesting a cabin size of 215 sq ft and containing a bathroom, which we now understand relates to facilities in a separate building on the property. We will not be booking again.”

We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. ”The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. Some of the glass window pains had black mould, not only around the edges but in the middle of the glass. We left pretty early because we couldn't be in the room anymore. ”Stayed one night the inn was nice and the staff very friendly. The food was good in the restaurant and a good breakfast. The car park was full when we arrived and my car was damaged overnight with no note left. ”

”It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning.”

”No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. ”

”Avoid at all costs, we arrive and left refusing to stay. "Glamping pod" was in a terrible condition, hardly cleaned and falling to bits. No towels provide, bed was unmade on arrival, hot tub was not cleaned let alone heated for arrival. Was definitely not as advertised, a break to relax and recharge. Shocked Expedia continue to list.”
