”No drink water was provided in the bar fridge”

”Amazing stay. The room was beautiful and possibly the cleanest I’ve ever encountered. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar staff were incredible at making cocktails and the restaurant served the best lamb I’ve ever had. Would 100% stay here again!”

”Friendly, great getaway and close to the hot springs, lovely to sit in the hot tub, watch a movie and enjoy a couple glasses of champagne, perfect night away for any couple, highly recommend”

”Staff were very friendly and not arrogant at all. Very down to earth which we enjoyed and felt very welcome. Room was very big and not felt crowded. Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to...

”The motel is in a good location and right near a great cafe called Cello. The room had everything I needed and was clean and well kept. The double spa bath was great to relax in, however the jets didn't work that well, but it didn't bother me. There was a lovely welcoming note from the motel staff, and they were happy to help when I locked myself out of my room. It was afordable, in a good location and staff make you feel welcome.”

”This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!”

”After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great...

”Warm and cosy. Plenty of blankets as well were in the middle of winter with frosty mornings. Enjoyed our stay”
