A Cape Cod Gem
The Inn is a fantastic gem nestled in sleepy Yarmouthport. The owners (Claire and Robin) are consummate professionals focused on providing the highest quality B&B experience through outstanding food quality and comforting service. They provided excellent dining recommendations that delivered additional great experiences. A must-have experience that we are eager to do again.

The owners are lovely, the location is so convenient, the breakfast was delicious (Claire even made it available to us an hour early), the room was very clean and comfortable and the historical home was everything we wanted to experience staying on Cape Cod.

This is a lovely B&B set in a historic Sea Captain's House on Cape Cod. The welcome is very warm and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is home cooked and very tasty. Nearby are some good restaurants and cafes. The marshland, beaches and towns of southern Cape Cod are within easy reach by car and there is a lot to explore in the vicinity. I wish we had stayed for longer.

The proprietors of this wonderful bed and breakfast attended to every detail in making this a perfect stay. This is a central location on Cape Cod that lends to easy accessibility to other sites to visit and many dining are options close by. Splendid breakfasts and amenities too numerous to list, combined with the friendly helpfulness that Robin and Claire provide, made for outstanding accommodations!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would , that’s how I felt about my stay . This place is impeccable clean , updated , organized and the owner is generous in preparing the breakfast , Which was fantastic. She offers water and wine complimentary . The Village Inn Cape Cod is a lovely place to stay! The house and grounds are wonderful; very beautifully decorated and maintained. Robin and Claire (brother and sister team from Ireland) have thought of everything and Claire's breakfasts are fabulous! Highly recommend.

Charming old school inn
Comfortable one night stay with Claire & Robin. Beautifully appointed inside, lovely charm. Breakfast served by our hosts who then gave advice on where to go in the cape. Only drawback of having a road-facing room was road noise, you'd think the area would be quiet but after 5am it became noticeable.

Die Betreiber der Unterkunft haben uns herzlich empfangen und das Hotel wird mit sehr viel Liebe betrieben. Das fängt bei der Pflege des Gartens an geht über die perfekte Inneneinrichtung und endet in einem hervorragenden Frühstück. Hier würden wir jederzeit wieder hinkommen um beim Frühstück die Eichhörnchen und Vögel zu beobachten. Im übrigen gibt es einen immer gut gefüllten Kühlschrank mit Getränken, unter anderem auch Bier und Wein, der zur kostenlosen Verfügung steht. Vielen Dank an Claire & Robin

Great stay in Yarmouth Port
A fabulous building in a great location with equally good hospitality. A lovely room with plenty of space, and creative and different freshly cooked breakfast each day. Great touches like free soda beer and wine with a lovely coffee machine. Wonderful hosts and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Very old house and that’s ok but floor wood is lifted in areas with mold. The breakfast was not home made it was heated Quiche or egg beaters . The attention from Claire was great . But need a little more of a health menu.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, I only wish you had mentioned your concerns during your stay. We are a 1830 Sea Captains home with beautiful refinished pumpkin pine flooring that had been previously painted avocado green, perhaps what you perceived as mold was the flecks of paint not removed. ALL of our prepared foods including the quiche is made from scratch no egg beaters used here, check out the other reviews to confirm the high culinary standards. We strive to offer alternatives to guests with dietary or taste preferences and I am sorry if we failed to provide you with a healthy alternative.

Great hosts , breakfasts , comfort, and location
Claire and Robin are excellent and friendly hosts. All the comforts of home are provided with Covid protocols in place. Breakfasts are top notch and beds were very comfortable. Within 10 minutes of the Hyannis Terminal, the Village Inn is an excellent place to stay if you’re also going for a trip to Nantucket like we did.

Claire was the best hostess! We were greeted personally and she even helped us with our bags. She gave wonderful recommendations on where to eat and places to see. The house was beautiful and our beds were incredibly comfortable. We stayed in the family suite and it was so nice having the extra room. The breakfast of French toast and sausage was the best on our trip. We wish we could have stayed a week!
