”Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, too. And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. We ate dinner both nights and were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We really hope we will have another visit! ”

”Fabulous stay at The Sun Inn. Excellent value for money. I was upgraded free of charge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay at The Sun Inn again next time I visit Lancaster. ”

”This was our second stay at The Tavern and we will most definitely return. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities available. This time we stayed in the room with the amazing bath. Sadly we didn’t have chance to use it as only stayed for one night. The breakfast is wonderful and certainly set us up for the day. The owners and staff are all very friendly. We look forward to our next visit. ”

”Room 122 was a lovely big room the bed was very comfortable it could have done with a floor length mirror . The bathroom had a shower only and a small sink with no shelves to put your cosmetics on . Lovely hotel we have stayed here many times. ”

”We are a family of three who spent two nights in the family room. It was spotless, comfortable, very well presented with good facilities. We had an issue on our first night but the staff did their best to deal with it. Fortunately this was resolved. Breakfast was great, excellent quality and a good selection. We will definitely stay here again.”

”Just as pretty and lovely as i expected. Our room was so pretty and decorated with good taste. First place ever where i didnt hate fitted carpet. Restaurant was great! So far best fillet steak i have ever eaten! Restaurant staff was great and lovely. I recommend!”
