”Good location, close to the hockey fields. Fire alarm went off 6.15am. we all evacuated, but the firefighters did not come until the guests called them. Cleaning staff were in the building, but did not check on guests etc. Meals were available & good value.”

”Love how close the Bakehouse is to the Berrima cafes, restaurants and shops. Also love the access code instead of a card or key. The room is always cosy warm on arrival.”

”Great bedding and bathroom, esp shower- best i have ever had. However we were expecting 2 bedrooms plus a living/eating area with a table Instead of a ledge. Instead we had to walk through our son’s room to get to ours. So not a 2br suite. We’ll read the specs more carefully in future. A mirror in the main bedroom would also be useful.”

The breakfast order was taken at the bar, and I felt very rushed in selecting my order I felt I was not given enough time to go through the menu. ”Very quiet and peaceful. Well maintained property. Well located for a base for taking day trips. Worth going there for the breakfast alone.”

”Freshly renovated, very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price went up $25 from morning to afternoon on the day I booked but that was my fault for procrastinating. They have on site breakfast available for additional charge but we didn’t eat there.”
