”This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!”

”The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent. We can't fault any of the staff as they were friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with was the catering for the evening meals. On the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant there were several meals and additional dishes that weren't available on both nights. There was only one waitress on both nights and the restaurant was busy and she was rushed off her feet. She coped remarkably well with so many tables to deal with. Apart from...

”We had a lovely quiet bedroom at the end of a corridor. The only thing we could hear were sheep! Comfortable bed, powerful shower and clean room. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. Pleasant atmosphere, good location and friendly staff. Would stay again when in this area.”

”Stayed in the hotel for one night since my congress hotel nearby was fully booked. A very positive surprise in the English countryside: friendly staff, tidy spacious rooms, good quality food. I will visit again, should my travels take me into this direction.”

”Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

”Great stay here as a mum and daughter. Room, facilitates and food were excellent. The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers! Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!”
