”Wonderful stay at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel. Fantastic view of the river, made even better by the early morning frost. We had a little confusion over the breakfast time but the lovely ladies working there made sure our stay wasn't blighted and accommodated us. Thank you very much. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. ”

”It is a 2* hotel on a side of a fairly busy A road - one cannot expect a Savoy. It was clean, warm, the room quite large and comfortable, the staff kind and friendy, plenty of parking, easy distance to where we needed to be. Breakfast - a toast with jam or marmalade available by the reception. Included in the price of a £50 room I considered it a nice extra rather than breakfast I should rate for variety or quality. We’ll definitely be back!”

”Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.”

Tällä kertaa huone oli sivusiivessä eikä huoneessa ollut mitään erityistä, aika vaatimaton oikeastaan, mutta hintaansa nähden sekin oli ihan kelpo. Hyvä aamiainen. Loistava sijainti ulkoiluun, hyvät ja kauniit kävelymaastot ja pubeja sopivan matkan päässä. Sijaitsee kauniissa kylässä, joka usein näkyy Midsomerin murhissa - samoin hotelli. Sievää kuin mikä...”

”The building is beautiful, filled with history. I booked a superior for the bath in the room. I was given a pleasant room in what I think is the original medieval part of the building but the bath was through a cool 'corridor' in the room. However, I spoke to the very assistive staff and they suggested a different room which I was absolutely delighted with! This room was unique, had 2 steps down to the bathroom, had a deep bath in the room, room was spacious but cosy and homely. The bed was very...
