”Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the rest of our experience was good. However, the housekeeping service could have been better. We were told that the room would be serviced within three days, but unfortunately, no one came by.
We weren’t even asking for a full cleaning—just a few basic items to be replenished, including coffee. We also contacted the front desk to ask for assistance, but unfortunately, our request was not followed up on and the coffee was never replaced.

”I had booked the deluxe room with a view of the river a couple of months before and when we arrived we were given a standard room with a veiw of the paking lot. It was a small room and half of the mirror lights were out in the bathroom. All that said I do have a couple of good thing to say. The restaurant was good and the waitress was very personable and sweet. And even though the room was not what we expected we slept well and the bed was very comfortable.”

The rooms are clean, tidy & safe. As the rooms open out to a walkway over the driveway / carpark, there can sometimes be some noise & light coming through the curtains, but not enough to cause me any worries.”

”This historic building was very well maintained. The ice machine was not working but they happily got us in the kitchen. The wait staff were all great. Bartender, waitresses, cook we so pleasant and the food was delicious. Clams and cocktails on the outdoor patio were lovely, and the clams were so good. We dined inside for dinner and breakfast. Both were great. The pool was wonderful and not crowded for lap swimming. The sports club staff were a bit underwhelming, and they were out of breakfast...

I was not impressed with the "free" breakfast at Ruby's - there was a long wait, it only includes about 3 menu choices, or a nominal discount on anything else, and to be honest while the staff was nice, the food was not anything special. Better options are around, but if you're really on a budget it's ok. Five stars on the value of the stay, though.”
