”This was an outstanding stay! Very comfortable. They had everything you could want/need in a short term rental. I was able to fix several meals in the kitchen with ease. The only hiccup was that the place hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants when we arrived. It was an oversight that was quickly remedied with the cleaning crew arriving soon after we communicated the problem. The host was easy to reach and apologetic. Even with this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this...

”A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again.”

”The listing suggested that there were 1.5 or 2 bathrooms (depending on the page), there was a single shower room containing the shower, a toilet and washbasin. A very short walk to the City Centre, a local shop and pubs makes this an excellent location for visiting York. We arrived by train and the property was only 10-minutes by taxi from the station. ”This place is good - recently renovated and is in very good condition,nice furnishings. Overall very clean. Had all the basics you need. Fast Wi-Fi. Big fridge. We liked the walk into town along the river - we didn’t need the car all day. Hosts had good comms. Definitely cosy -the place is in a row of small terrace houses- it is small but cute…and very noisy (thump/creaky) when downstairs and someone is walking around upstairs. Impossible to cool the place down in the very hot weather we had....
