”Very convenient and spacious apartment - the only one on the 5th floor. Lovely to be able to sit on the balcony in the very hot weather, as the flat was quite hot. There is a fan but it wasn't particularly effective. Plenty of storage space, a huge TV and big living area. Comfortable bed. A few minor niggles - the flat feels a bit tired. Loose carpet in the hall, and loose floor tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom extractor fan did not seem to be working. Some of the venetian blinds were...

”The property is on the ground floor with about 3 steps to the door itself, check in was a breeze with a lockbox and codes provided for entry into the building. The flat is located 5-7mins from The centre of York and the taxis into the centre are all reasonably priced. The flat was clean and tidy and even had some milk in the fridge for a cuppa to save a walk to the shops. Parking is directly outside the flat with no issues to find a space. Only niggle on a great stay was the doors having a life...

”Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has...

8. Leeds Centre by Charles Hope

Leylands

”The apartment was good, but the company took a 100 GBP damage deposit (it was supposed to be a hold but the money was debited from my account). They then claimed not to have actually taken the money (despite evidence to the contrary) and despite acknowledging the need to return the damage deposit claim to have done so without actually having done so (because they claim it was just a hold). Communication with them is extremely poor because it is largely through an AI assistant - and when you...
