This was a nice location to stay at in Yosemite. A few small issues kept it from being a five star; mainly that one of the beds was extremely squeaky to the point where no one could sleep in it. Also the bath drain did not work downstairs so the kids had to take showers instead of baths which was not a big deal but not ideal.

Great Getaway!

My family and I LOVED this property. Clean, fully stocked, and comfortable. It was our first time renting a VRBO, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Having such a great base for all our explorations made our trip to Yosemite so perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay, great location

We had a wonderful stay in Yosemite West. The home decor was a little tired but clean and comfortable. Getting to the valley early is essential and the location made getting into the valley easy. The entrance to Yosemite West is just up the road from Glacier Point road which unfortunately was closed during our 6/2023 visit. I enjoyed sitting on the deck with my morning coffee or watching the sun set over the hills through a partially tree blocked view. Except for the having to light the gas stove by lighter because the auto igniter did not work, it was ideal.

Stay near Yosemite National Park

Our family group really enjoyed our stay at this mountain cabin. It is located about a half hour from Yosemite Valley and about 45 min from the Mariposa Grove. Both national park locations are spectacular and we felt lucky to be so close. The house is super comfortable, easy to cook in, very clean, and there is a great deck outside the huge window. Thanks!

Grandma’s 70th birthday

The property was bigger than the photo’s show and the furnishings were just what you would expect in a mountain home. The very large window was perfect for enjoying the views and snow. They provided fire wood for the wood stove. Overall this was a very comfortable home for an extended family. I hope to stay there in the future. The only thing I would add is a bench in the mud room for grandma to remove her boots.

Perfect

The property was everything advertised and more. We loved the house…it was very clean and had plenty of space for 5 of us. It’s about a 15 minute drive into Yosemite valley, so the location is great. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit.

Yosemite family vacation

This was a perfect size home for family of 5. ( 2 adult and 3 grown kids). Check in process was seamless. House was very clean (however furniture could use updating). House has a cabin like feel and very comfortable. The kitchen has all needed items and having full size washer and dryer was great. . My only complaint( and it is my fault for not researching the area better), the house seems very far from Yosemite attractions and it’s not an easy ride. If I were to go back, I would prefer to stay closer to the Yosemite Falls area.

Great place to stay!

My family stayed for 2 nights at this cabin. It was a very nice cozy place with plenty of space and beautiful ceiling to floor windows and vaulted ceilings, yet felt warm and inviting. It had a nice large deck with seating and a bbq that would be great in the warmer months. I love the mud room as you enter so everyone can kick off their shoes and hang their coats and it was toasty warm as you walk in. The cabin has both a fireplace and heater for the whole place. The mud room/entry way came in handy due to the snow and all the cold weather gear we had. My 5 year-old loved it as did my parents and I. The cabin had everything we needed, with the exception of toiletries and groceries, as was expected. It felt like home and the décor was perfect for that cabin feel. There was even several large stuffed animal bears that were pretty fun my son. The tv worked with some channels accessible and both upstairs and down had vhs/dvd players and we were able to get some limited internet and cell phone service. We had two parking spots (February) and it was easy to get to the cabin. You do need chains if it's medium snow. The only downfall was the dishwasher was broken, but that happens and we alerted management. There were no other issues. The cabin's location was nice; only about 10 minutes from Badger Pass and not too far from the valley. Check-in and out was very easy and fast. I highly recommend this cabin.

An amazing family cabin!

We loved the location, ease of access and cleanliness of this cabin. There were plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable and everything was exactly as described! We’ll certainly be adding this agency to our list of favorites!

Perfect cabin gor family weekend getaway with easy and quick access to the valley

Property was very nice. Would suggest improving kitchen...stove did not burn evenly and there were not enough cooking supplies like mixing bowls, measuring spoons and storage containers. Overall a comfortable space!

Great property, well appointed, exactly as described

We had a very good stay at this property. We appreciated the check in procedure which involves entering a 4 digit code into the lock - no stopping by a rental office to get keys. The kitchen is large and well supplied with dishes and cookware. There were also some dry goods - salt, pepper, tea, etc. - available which we appreciated. The rest of the house was very clean and there were plenty of good quality blankets and towels. We used the grill 2 nights with no issues. This house is right next door to the rental office, and so has internet service that extends from the office - a very nice perk that may be rare back in the mountains. Note also, it shares its address with Scenic Wonders, which initially confused us, but we had no problem finding the house, even as it was getting dark upon our arrival. Overall a great stay!!

Great Location, Great Accommodations.

Yosemite West is about 20mins away from the Yosemite Valley - an excellent choice if you are looking for accommodations outside the park. You pass through a few sightseeing spots between the valley and the West. The house was very large -very tall ceilings and beautiful large windows leading to the deck and overlooking other homes. The house is located above the office, we didn't hear any activity from them - however the designated parking area for this rental is frequented by the many additional renters (including their vehicles) when stopping by the office. Silverware, utensils, laundry and dryer generously provided. Bedding was satisfactory, fridge and TV / Internet was a nice touch. Had no WIFI issues- probably because we were right above the office. The 1st bedroom upstairs was the largest - easily sleeps 4, plus 2 on the floor comfortably, 2nd bedroom sleeps 2. The bedroom downstairs by far was the smallest. The dinning area, living room and kitchen are lined up towards the deck- nice touch - focusing on the deck vs the TV - which is located off center from the living room - its large enough for a sizable gathering and a few cartwheels. Overall - very happy to have stayed here.

Location is perfect! Only suggestion I have is that since the closest store is 30 minutes away, it would be nice if there were shampoo sample bottles and a better stocked kitchen. For example, spices and cooking oil.

Great Stay

We stayed at Yosemite View for two nights with two families of four, and it was a perfect place for us to stay. The house is well kept, very clean, and well appointed...it had everything we needed and was very cozy. It's conveniently located within Yosemite National Park, so you don't have to wait in the car line each day to enter the park. On our last day, we woke up to find it snowing, and the view through the floor to ceiling window in the living room was so beautiful! Added bonus (or not, depending on your needs): we had working wifi. Check-in/out was super easy and seemless. Would definitely stay here again, for short or long stays.
