”When we got there, we were impressed about how clean it was. There was just two of us but Chateau East had enough room for 8. It’s a little bit of a drive to the valley but the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Chateau East is a lower level. You’ll walk down about 8 steps and then on to a nice deck. Beautiful view out the living room!”

”I do NOT recommend this home. VERY frustrating experience. Requested an early check in a couple of days prior to arrival, then followed up twice and didn’t hear from the host (Lakshmi) until the day after we checked in apologizing for the delay and hoping it had worked out, which it clearly hadn’t. The house was at 55 when we got there at 5, we turned the heat on but it was still in the 50s when we went to bed at 9. There were a few gas fireplaces but no instructions on how to use them. The...

”Wonderful 5-day family stay at Stoneoaks. Clean and functional mountain house. Great park access from Yosemite West. Super roomy for our family of 5 (we left one room with two beds empty). Only minor inconveniences (trouble with grill and DVD player).”
