âDesk check in/out so friendly and welcoming. Patrick even carried my 45# luggage around the corner & up 3 flights of stairs! At check out they allowed us to store our luggage for 4 hours. Very good breakfast. The Bishops Gate #3 that we stayed in has a very comfortable bed. Kitchen had bottled water in the fridge, coffee tea & snacks on the counter. â
âUnusual small hotel that requires codes to access the hotel and room. Codes and details are provided in an email prior to arrival. Access is on an alley. Huge room had a kitchenette. A block from the murals related to the Troubles. Easy to walk into town. If driving, park on the street and be aware of parking details on the signs to avoid getting a ticket.â
âWe wanted to be in bogside so the abbey B&B was perfect for us. Perfect location for all the museums and sights in Derry. Close to the Centre. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who are really knowledgeable of their area and itâs history and who gave us great recommendations.â
âExcellent base for a short visit - guest house rather than a hotel, but better for that and the complimentary bread, cereal, tea and coffee breakfast was a bonus.â
âI honestly cannot stress how fantastic we found this place! Central to everything, a stones throw from the Guildhall, the walls and the Tower museum as well as some amazing places for food and drinks.
Before arrival, online check in process was smooth, received our code and this worked perfectly when we arrived.
The room itself is spacious, has a big comfy bed, the bathroom has a lovely shower and good sink and mirror (with another light round it). Spotlessly clean as well!

âHotel is a true four star hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, service professional and the breakfast was excellent, with superb apple juice and nice cheeses. There was also good parking just outside of the hotel. The only downside is the location, if you are not travelling by car. It is not close to city centre and there seems to be nothing but a freeway near by. In that sense it's more like a motel. We were driving, so it suited us well.â
âExcellent stay at Da Vinics. Food in restaurant and breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and a lovely room. Only downside was work( construction) going on outside so a lot of noise the next morning.â
âWe were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The ladies that helped us were wonderful and our breakfast was delicious. We would recommend staying here to anyone we knew that was visiting Derry. â
âElectronic check in via a pad. Ours didnât work, but checked in and out via phone. Not walking distance to shops or pubs. Need a car to stay there. It worked well for us â
âPlenty of parking space and the staff at check in were very warm and welcoming. Good selection at breakfast and very quiet location. Great for when travelling for work.â
