Ystrad Rhondda railway station, Rhondda Cynon Taf. Opened in 1986 by British Rail on the line from Cardiff to Treherbert. View north west towards Ton Pentre (the original Ystrad Rhondda station which changed its name at the same time as this station opened) and Treherbert.

Ystrad Rhondda railway station. The station is on the Rhondda Line, between Llwynypia station (about a mile ahead) and Ton Pentre station, a little less than a mile behind the camera. The twin tracks through the station merge into one track beyond the footbridge ahead. Of interest to trivia fans - Ystrad Rhondda is alphabetically the last railway station in the UK.

Reception and restaurant staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming and they were very helpful. Only issue was that there was meant to be an ice dispenser in the laundry room but doesn’t look like there was one. Everything else was perfect
