”This place is a find. Directly across the road from the Pyg trail at Snowdon. Comfortable beds and very clean. Make sure to book parking as it is in high demand or park down the road and take Sherpa Bus.”

”Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc.”

”we ate there the night before we left. We ordered dessert online. The server made us show her our receipt for the dessert before bringing it to our table. When she finally brought our dessert she was very sour and didn’t even apologize. Seemed very rude.”

”Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!”

”We were given an accessible room, no AC but the reception kindly provided us with fans and ice. The duvets were very thick for the time of the year. The pool closing time is way too early, maybe consider pushing it to 8pm.”

”All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! Since the pandemic there has been a proliferation...

”Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty.”
