”After a rather pot holed approach road to the site you are greeted by a terraced bungalow complex. On my second night I discovered there is accommodation in the attic with bare floor boards- I had a rather noisy person above me! These should be carpeted as a courtesy to those on the ground floor.The person who checked me in was pleasant but not thorough with information. ”I stayed over Christmas, so it is difficult to comment as the pub had different opening hours. It was not open in the morning for breakfast, but had the advantage of being quieter in the evening. I would have liked more information about how to work the shower, etc. The room was comfortable and the radiators were working. ”

”Turned up to the hotel to be told we didn’t have a booking. Zero empathy or customer service. I had driven 3 hours and myself and my 1 year old had no place to stay and hotels.com weren’t able to relocate us so had to drive home. ”
