”Bloc is supposed to be an affordable design hotel. Well, if design means rooms that have some fancy features but that are not very functional then that's what it must be. The room was very small, as was the bathroom, the TV was large and of good quality, so was the bed and wifi connection. There was no work desk, only a small bed side table, making working on a computer even for a little while very uncomfortable. There was a large rain shower head in the bathroom but otherwise the bathroom was...

”You know what you're going to get. A clean room, comfortable enough bed. No windows, no extras, but I didn't need any. Everything went well and the location near the New Street station is great. For this price and for one night, I was very happy with the hotel.”

”Nice sized, clean room. Self service check in, with helpful staff on hand to assist. Great location, just to the side of a retail estate, so very easy to find and shops a short walk if you need to grab some food/ clothes. ”A great hotel in a good location for the NEC and other events. Booked in here to walk to the NEC for an event. A bit more of an awkward walk than expected so be prepared for that! Breakfast is included which really helped with plans throughout our visit. Really clean and comfy with air con in the room and I think the widest double bed we've ever seen! If we're heading back to the NEC then we'll definitely stay here again.”
