”Nice (funky) hotel in re-done historic building. It has the quirks of an older building but has been thoughtfully remodeled and lavishly decorated. Great staff. Great location.”

”When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.”

”I booked online for the same day. When I arrived the said there were no rooms. The owner checked my reservation and made up a room for me anyway. There was a lovely cold breakfast buffet and the hosts were friendly. ”

”We liked our stay at The Scott. The hotel does not look fancy outside, but that does not matter. The bed was good, the bathroom very clean with great shower products. No fridge available. Our room was facing the main Street what was nice. Parking was easy (although it seems that spaces are limited) and very convenient when travelling by car. Check in and check out easy. The hotel is well located and we can really recommend it. We would stay again. ”

”The hotel was in a quiet area with great views across Loch Linnhe. The room and entire property were very clean. Room was spacious. Water pressure was very good in the shower. Staff was very attentive, especially in the restaurant and bar areas. The bathroom was dated and the bed was a wee bit harder than we would have preferred. Overall it was a nice small hotel that fit our needs very well.”

Olimme aika järkyttyneitä huoneen laadusta. Emme missään tapauksessa olisi valinneet tätä vaihtoehtoa. Seuraavana päivänä saimme varaamamme huoneen + rahallisen hyvityksen erehdyksestä. ”Not worth of the money, not at all! It might look nice in the pictures and from outside, but is is horrible inside. The smell in corridors is very damp and bad and how the rooms are renovated, it must be rotten inside the walls. The room was clean (that is the only thing done right), but the smell of damp is in the towels too. I´ve never been a hotel that had so worn out sheets (it has holes in it..) All the sounds from the other rooms and corridor comes straight through the walls and...
