”The twin room is very basic as it states. Just be aware that separate tub and shower actually means one ‘shared bathroom’ with everyone else on the floor. It would be helpful to have the light operable above the sink. It was a very last minute booking due to a ferry cancellation , but it is very close to the ferry terminal. The owner did supply us with a bagged lunch as our departure was very early in the morning which we appreciated very much.”

”An absolutely beautiful place - the view was spectacular and the guest house was extremely well appointed.
It is VERY far removed from, well, everything.
We loved the space and would highly recommend it, but for at least a couple of nights stay.
Be certain to have a phone that is FULLY functional in the UK (my Canadian phone did not often connect to British data) as we didn't receive our entry access until after we'd had the cleaning lady (who was wonderfully helpful) contact Elly the owner....

”27 Garenin was a pefect holiday let for our holiday in Lewis.
It is warm, comfortable, and well equiped with plenty of hot water - a necessity after long, wet days out (to be expected).”

”Perfect location, fabulous view! Lovely home. Clean, comfortable and online pics do not do it justice. I had a lot to see but would have been perfectly happy to spend the entire weekend sitting in the arm chair enjoying the sea view out the large picture window. Owner was very prompt in responding to questions and very patient with my lack of knowledge on how things are done in Scotland. Highly recommend!”
