”In general a good and comfortable stay, but for this price I would expect excellence. I found it strange that there was no refridgerator in the room, seems like it was on purpose so that customers wouldn’t bring any own snacks and therefore would spend even more money in the hotel restaurant. ”So the room were spectacular. The service fantastic, the food was delicious an the cocktails out of sight. the only thing that was a surprise is that when we wanted the outdoor pool was not always available. Of course the pool took about an 1.5 hours to get heated, but when we requested to have it turned on, we were never alerted that they would not end up doing it. ”My stay at Ikal was phenomenal. I was looking for an opportunity to enjoy a wellness experience and they delivered. The room was just as advertised and they had a wonderful schedule of activities. The location in the national park gave us access to several beach clubs and restaurants along the beach so I could really explore the area. The staff was amazing, super communicative and accommodated our needs/addressed any questions. Would definitely return during peak season or visit their sister...

”If you're in Mexico for the sun then this is not your hotel: the sun doesn't shine any time to the pool area and the beach is a 20 min drive away. Otherwise, we liked the hotel and our apartment which was nice and functional. A couple of small downsides: The TVs didn't have any TV channels, only internet, and the gym was very poorly equipped (although the selection of dumb bells was good).”
