”I chose this place because of the good reviews – and I was happy to notice that it was really good! Nice "boutique type" of hotel in a great spot. And quiet enough to sleep in the upper floors atleast (I was on the 18th floor) even though there are cars driving in Waikiki center. Bed was very good in my taste. The breakfast was good enough because I got plenty of fruits and eggs (I don't eat meat). There is a water refill station in the lobby. Cosmopolitan queen room was nice, and nice city view...

”We expected a bit more of this hotel. The staff was not very friendly and not flexible at all. They were very strict about not giving the room us before 3pm and not showing any empathy for us who had been awake 24 hours after a flight. The parking was also very expensive, 28$ per night. The location was good and the housekeeping did their job well. However the room was quite outdated and in a need of a proper facelift.”

”The location was great and the cafe downstairs was very good for breakfast. However, we didn’t get the room (with 2 beds) that we booked and paid for for the first night as we arrived later in the evening. Had to change rooms in the following morning with quite a lot of hassle and the staff didn’t quite do what they promised upon arrival. Also, we had couple of very big cockroaches in our bathroom that we ended up killing ourselves, which wasn’t nice. Hotel only cleans rooms every 5 days so that...

”Check in very quick and efficient. Room very clean, could do with a bit of an update. Room would be better with on extra easy chair. Very well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee machine, a kettle was available if required. There was also a laundry room, a water machine and reef friendly suncream available in the reception area. Blue Hawaiian also have an area in reception, with very helpful staff to book any trips or trolley bus passes. The only slight downside is the boy racers on the...

”The property was very clean and had been upgraded. There was a bus stop right outside the entrance but it was only a ten minute walk to Waikiki beach and there were many restaurants and shops within a five minute or less walk.”

”Location was great, but our room was on the street side so there was quite much noice from the street late friday and saturday night. Also some one was smoking pot in the room next door a lot and we could smell it in our room almost all the time... The aircon was quite loud but we shut it for night and it was actually not too hot at night without it. Friendly staff who helped with everything we asked! ”

”There was a lot of noise due to construction going on around the property. The building is old and needs a lot of renovations done. The cleaning crew often didn’t leave shower mats, washcloths or replace our coffee. ”

”Currently under renovation so some inconvenience and quality issues, but the staff really made up for it.”
