”I loved my stay at the Fontenot. Staff is exceptional. Cleaning is great. You can tell there's an active effort to maintain the hotel, which is great to see. The hotel is rather lovely and quite charming. The local area however is definitely mixed bag. It's perfectly safe and beautiful during morning and peak sunlight hours. Beyond that, it's just more of a hand toss. Like if you're a lady, it's probably best to avoid solo walks outside at night. Call an Uber to and from the Hotel lobby.”

As our children have gotten older it is harder to find a space that we all fit in comfortable. We visited at least 10 different locations from Florida to Texas and this offered us the most space”

”The hotel is well located, clean, with modern amenities. It has a seamless check in process but the host is responsive. Given the fact that it caters to groups and families, I would recommend considering a sofa bed in suite 9 for better accommodation of guests. Also, amenities as bathrobes would be fantastic. ”

”The property was in excellent condition, with all utilities of a high standard. All communication prior to and after arrival were first class. The check-in procedure was clear and simple and without any problems. The location was very good for us, reasonably close to the main attractions, with public transport nearby if required. There are also shops nearby for groceries etc if required. Overall, the apartment contributed greatly to a lovely stay in New Orleans”
