”Planned a staycation for our anniversary and called a few days ahead to see if they could have anything in the room to surprise my hubs and to my delight, Ben was accommodating and told me about the partnerships they have with the local florist and party decorations store. They took great care of us and the room was beautiful. Amazing staff and overall just 100000/100000.”

”The best part of our stay was the property outside. Grounds were beautiful and they have a 9 hole putting green which was fun ( especially if you don’t golf).
The hotel/rooms are very dated (old). Our tv didn’t work and our toilet stopped working. Had to use the facility in the lobby area”

”We stayed at the original motel on this site, the Carmel Sands Lodge beginning in the 1990s. We paid $125/night. The hotel is vastly superior now to what it was then, but it has probably increased in price more than the improvement in the property itself. Nonetheless, we will continue to stay there given the level of comfort we experience.
We are disappointed that if we try to add a night to our stay after the original reservation is made, that the nights we have already reserved are...

”Martine Inn is undeniably beautiful, and the location is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the price or the luxury expectations we had.
We stayed in the Parke Room and absolutely loved its charm and character. One of our favorite memories was getting to use the fireplace on our second night! I do wish we had been better informed about how cold the rooms can get at night, especially since there’s no central heating or air...

”Terrific breakfast; excellent housekeeping. So very helpful being able to check in a little early after a full day of traveling. Absolute professional, yet friendly staff combined with luxury all around. Loved the location to shopping, restaurants and the beach!
The courtyard is beautiful, although some short-term visitors claim the entire space as their own as an office, talking louding on the phone or as a party gathering. This isn't thoughtful of others who have paid for quiet and relaxation...

”The hotel was clean and at least our room was very spacious. For the price we expected something extra, though, as you could get the same level of accomodation for less. Foras the promised breakfast was not what we had expected and were left disappointed.”

”What hidden Gem, we loved our stay here. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the shower had decent water pressure and the beds were comfortable. On checking in Randall was really helpful in helping us with understand the facilities and places around the town that we could visit and dine at. Each morning breakfast is delivered to your room based on choices you make at checkin at a time you specify, which is a nice touch after having buffet style breakfasts in other hotels.
There's a courtyard...
