”Would definitely recommend! Set in a stunning location, the view from the room was out of this world! Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was spotless and finished to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, dinner was stunning and bar was very reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning was good too, wide choice of hot and cold breakfast items and an array of fruit juice, teas and coffees. If you are looking for somewhere to base yourself...

”We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Oban. Glad we spent atleast 2 days here as Oban was one of our favorite spots in Scotland. Very walkable to everything we did and very close to Lorne which was my wife’s favorite restaurant in the trip (was accordion night) hit up a lot of other restaurants and the views and scenery there are the best. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was delicious. Our room had a great view of the water. ”

”Charming guesthouse facing the esplanade. Convenient to all amenities within a short walk. Communal kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked. Rooms were a good size. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Parking next to the building was £9 for the day or £1 per hour. ”

”We arrived late and left relatively early the next morning, so we didn't have breakfast. (We had a peek into the dining area and it looked substantial.) When we arrived, there was someone to assist us, which was appreciated. The premises were very clean, and our room looked out onto the promenade. The decor is a little dated, but it's part of the charm. There's parking in front, and it's a quick walk to the centre of Oban. ”

”Magnifique maison écossaise. La décoration est vraiment incroyable. La chambre était décorée avec goût mais au delà de la chambre vous pourrez profiter de différents salons dont un avec un billard et un autre ouvert en soirée pour déguster un whisky (ou autre) dans une ambiance tout droit sortie d’un roman d’Agatha Christie. C’est clairement un endroit où nous retournerons! ”

”This was a wonderful stay, especially if you wanted to be back away from the crowded areas. My map app took me to the wrong side, but theres a little sign up, so you at least know you're near the right place. Oh, and James might tease you a bit ;) But then was very happy to give recommendations and show me where the clothes drying rack was”

”Floor in the kitchen had major buckling a trip hazard. They needed to leave a booklet or something with directions with the Wi-Fi passcode and everything felt like we had to text. Wait for answers. We never got the pre-instructions before we got there. That was a hassle. ”

”We had a great time in Melfort!. We love it, comfortable, clean, spacious, great option to stay with kids. There is a playground and swimming pool. As reception has specific hours open, they take care to send us a mail explaining how to access to our house if it was close. Beautiful the road to go to Melfort, one of the best ones in Scotland. . ”
