”Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. ”

”Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.”

”AN ABSOLUTE GEM!! We enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming boutique style country inn! From our warm and inviting check-in with Lisa (who welcomed us with local knowledge and had even set aside a dinner reservation for us!) to our GORGEOUS and beautifully appointed room (complete with stand alone copper tub!) and then to our exploration of the local area (the immediate area provides picturesque walking and the Gleneagles golf course is quite close) to the FABULOUS food…..I highly recommend...

”Run don't walk and book Poplars, it was a lovely stay! Nancy welcomed us like long lost friends and made us feel at home. A beautiful property, we stayed on the top floor overlooking the mountains and rooftops of Pitlochry. So many personal touches and the property is immaculate. The guest lounge is warm and inviting too! Our stay was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful and make sure you try the porridge with whiskey! Run, don't walk.. a glorious guest house stay.”

”The hotel was lovely, good customer service and the room was a great size and well decorated. The bed was super comfortable but we had problems with a poor shower that didn't work properly for the 2 days we were there. The location is good and a 5 minute walk into the village centee Food in the restaurant was good, but breakfast took too long even though there went many tables.”

”Beautiful hotel, nice and comfortable room. Surroundings are beautiful. There was loud noise coming from kitchen's ventilation or something like that late in the evening and early in the morning. Otherwise room was quiet. Front desk service was really great and welcoming. Service in the restaurant was quite lousy. Our waitress first brought the butter and bread maybe 10-15 minutes later. Drinks she forgot to ask and another waitress ask them just before we got our food. The restaurant wasn't...
