”Pros: The view from the window was great. Room was quite large for hotel in Manhattan. Cons: The person in the reception was rude and not helpful at all. Hotel is outdated and needs maintenance. They made an unrecognized 200§ charge to my credit card and their customer service is driving me crazy. I have to do all the work for their errors. ”

”Highly recommend. The rooms are spacious, black out curtains do black out, beds are very comfortable. Great location in NYC. I had a cold when I arrived and the front desk brought a water kettle to my room so I could make hot water for cold medicine I bought a block away. If you are driving there is (expensive) parking just across the street from the entry. ”

”Had a fine stay at Freehand NY. Front desk staff are lovely and the rooms are adequate. It’s worth noting that there are absolutely no facilities at this hotel. There is a coffee shop but not a proper breakfast place inside the hotel and no room service. The bar turns into more of a club which is fine if that’s your vibe. The rooms are small but nicely decorated, but again no additionals. Not even coffee or tea making facilities in the room or a mini bar. I had some maintenance issues...
