”I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. ”

”We were blown away by the staff, who were laid back and helpful, giving excellent suggestions for local activities that you wouldn’t know based on the internet. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible. The room was clean and the views were stunning. One of the more expensive stays we had on our trip but worth every penny… my wife and I will remember this as the highlight of our Scotland trip.”

”The location is beautiful, the home modern and the host is so friendly (not to mention the chillest dog Brody who is just a handsome lad). There’s lovely little bar and restaurant a couple minutes up the road where you can grab dinner. Note - this part of the island is really away from it all which makes it wonderful. Just know you’re not staying in a big town”

However, the property owner did not communicate via HomeAway nor did she apply the check-out times of the HomeAway website. Very difficult to get in touch and only communication via e-mails that kept ending up in my spam filter. Somewhat confusing.”
