”Overall loved the hotel and the experience, ate twice in the Eden restaurant where food and service were both excellent. The only downside for us was the room had an unpleasant odor, not too bad but still, and it was very humid- may be because we were located above the spa - which has a nice pool and all. Nice hotel but I would avoid the restaurant
"The hotel itself was nice, and the room clean and beautiful with a great view. However our experience in the hotel restaurant wasn't great. We had to wait for the service for quite a bit (there was a wedding in the bigger dining room, so it was understandable that the staff was busy). However, when the food came, my friend found a hair in hers. It was late and already hard to get a hold on the waiter so she just let it slide but later they mixed the desserts too and brought a random slice of cake instead of what we ordered. At that point we just wanted to pay and leave. The so-called icing on the cake was when we finally got to pay for our meals and our waiter insisted that we tip her 10% for the service (she didn't continue until we wrote down the 10% tip on the receipt). This all just left a really bad taste in the mouth. Maybe on a better day the service would be better, but I wouldn't bet on it. Without this, the rating for the hotel would've been 9/10."
