”Very worn out hotel with quite a low customer service. Reception was not eager to serve and no smile on sight! Location was nice and convenient. Even though rooms were cleaned daily, there was dust on the floors.”

”Perfect! That is the word to describe my whole stay in hotel Washington. I was staying in Monument View suite, which was absolutely amazing. Deep soaking bath, comfy bed, Nespresso coffee machine, two tv:s with Netflix and amazing views. Room service food was delicious and perfect. Housekeeping, reception, bartenders, doormen - Thank you all! Certainly will come back if I have a change to come to Washington.”

”Proximity to GWU makes it an automatic for visiting parents. Hotel is beautiful, old school, the rooms are large and the bathrooms have the best showers. The Four Five Coffee shop moved in two doors down which only makes staying at the hotel better. The hotel staff are all excellent, caring, and personally engaged to ensure a comfortable stay. Skip the onsite restaurant as there are plenty of much better options within easy walking distance (North Italia, Toryumon, Tatte, Circa). ”

”This is the first time I've stayed at The Darcy Hotel. The hotel was situated in the heart of DuPont Circle where there are lots of dining options and a 5-minute walk to the Metro subway. It is a boutique hotel, not affiliated with any chain hotels which is awesome. We arrived a lot earlier than the usual check-in time and were able to get a room.”

”Quiet, calm clean and comfortable. I feel like the parking should be included because there really isn’t anywhere to park. ”

”A good hotel in a nice location. Room was refurbished at some point and looked good. Only one complain that we found some dark hair in the tub, which was cleaned after we informed about it. Please note that when booking via hotels.com, the hotel is going to add a charge of 30 dollars + taxes for the breakfast, wifi and some other services. Even though you book the room with breakfast, this is in any case charged. ”

”I’m not really an advocate of pets at a hotel, which made me nervous about this one, but I did not see any thankfully. The rooftop lounge/restaurant was very loud and had lots of activity which was kind of annoying as I had to wait for elevators numerous times just to get to my room. But the room was well appointed and the record player was a nice touch.”

”Our room was great, it had everything you needed. Bed & sheets were very comfortable! We got there before check in time, We waited until 4:16pm, then asked if front desk - when we could check in. Oh it’s ready, they had been busy did not get a chance to email us.”

”As a person of disability I was very pleased at how attentive the hotel staff made my stay very convenient. From the greeters at the entrance up until the moment I left I felt very safe and well cared for . the facility itself is clean elegant and Charming with a sweet breakfast area and an entertaining dinner spot right inside the hotel. I would prefer a physical paper menu for room service and other Hotel amenities I supposed to always referring to a telephone app which is not always...
