We are here three times this year and each stay is about a week. Almost every staff member is outstanding in terms of being friendly, approachable and meeting your needs and beyond. We will definitely be back in 2026.”

”Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. The breakfast on the weekends is a disaster as it was very crowded and the staff was running around in panic. Overall, I dont think the hotel is worth the money. ”

”So central to everything, we left the car at the Domain car park, 10 min walk to the Paradox, freshen up, head out for drinks at the Opera Bar, had a chant with Hare Krishnas on George Street, drinks at Tank Stream and dinner at Mr Wong. We were up early for a Spa, steam room and Pool, checked out, dropped our bags back at the car and went to Botanical Gardens for breakfast. So much to do. Staff and service were great at the Paradox!”

”We chose Sydney as our honeymoon destination, which in itself turned out to be a great choice. Also the Sofitel hotel and its services were generally very good. Since it was our honeymoon, we wanted a bit of luxury, so instead of a standard room, we chose a significantly more expensive luxury corner room, which was advertised with a great view of Darling Harbour. When we got to the hotel and the room, it was revealed that directly in front of the hotel and the view was a huge and loud...

”Check in was very good and easy, especially as we were late in. We could get something to eat in the bar area. It does great light dishes which were perfect for us. The layout of the room is a bit odd. The bathroom is open to the bedroom. So no privacy. Otherwise is was nice. No milk in the fridge for a cup of tea in the morning was disappointing. The lifts are great, nice and quick. 👍”
