”The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. ”The rooms were spotless. First night Room 1 - The shower couldnt be used as the thermostat was not working and only scalding hot water was output. I was moved to another room for the 2nd night. First night I was on the 3rd floor and found the steps to my room were too steep for me to negotiate. It was unpleasant. 2nd room I was on 1st Floor. Molly? housekeeping staff was very friendly, and I appreciated her assistance.”

”Beautiful room with a lovely view to the Portree harbour. Close to everything (shops, pubs) and convenient location for exploring the area. I have no experience communucating with the staff, but they seemed to be easily reachable if I had needed something. Walls were really thin though, could hear everything from the room next door, but I didn’t mind that. ”

”Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet.
In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night.
Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep!
Rooms were large with modern bathroom facilities including the best towels we have experienced in a while!
Undoubtedly though, the highlights of the stay were the exceptional food and...
