Perfect relaxing stay
We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. It was truly relaxing stay and on top of that even though I managed to lose my necklace after leaving the spa, when I emailed the hotel later, they had managed to find it and send it to me in a letter. I couldn't be happier with our stay!

Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House.
Miellyttävä kokemus ja upeat puitteet. Wi-Fi toimi hyvin, hyvä aamupala ja uintimahdollisuus mukava lisä. Hotellin oman pubin palvelutaso oli nolo esitys ruokapuolella, muuten ei valittamista.

Erilainen Joulu
Koko reissu oli mahtava. Hotelli upea ja henkilökunta todella ystävällistä. Saimme apua aina, kun sitä tarvitsimme. Pieni miinus palveluiden käytännöllisyydestä. Ruokia oli työläs varata ennakkoon ja ohjeistus oli himppu epäselvää. Joulupäivän lounas oli hintaansa nähden pienoinen pettymys laadun puoleen. Olisimme kaivanneet myös jonkinlaista Welcome to Ardoe House -esitettä hotellihuoneeseen, jossa olisi esitelty paitsi hotellia, myös sen palveluita (yleisesti, ei mainoksia). Spa -osaston palvelut oli avattu hyvin, mutta siitäkin olisimme kaivanneet lisäohjeistusta, esim: saunan käytön suhteen. Mutta aivan loistava miniloma ja kotoinen tunnelma, jonka sai aikaan ystävällinen henkilökunta ja upeat puitteet.

The grounds and the staff were great. The bed was super comfortable and the room appeared to be as well. That is, until it I learned that there was no aircon and they did not have fans. This left me with the option to open the windows the tiny bit they can be opened to cool the room. Unfortunately, this meant a million bugs since there is no netting on the windows. I ultimately had to close the windows, kill as many bugs as I could, and then spend the night alternating between slapping bugs off myself and melting under covers.

Attended a wedding at ardoe house also spent the night, the facilities are clean, the rooms are big, clean with a firm comfy bed, only bad part about the wedding was the price of drinks most people attending the wedding also complained about the prices. breakfast was great, staff were friendly and eager to help out guests. abit out of the way from aberdeen

The building itself looked like a castle. Inside gave a regal feeling as well. Staff were professional, pleasant and informative. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our one night stay.

Very comfortable 1 night business stay in August (sticks in my mind over 6 months later, so must have been good!). Room was spacious and quiet, very quiet location and good breakfast. Happy to recommend for any type of stay.

The hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the highland cows in the pasture. The photographs in the hotel were artsy and unique, taken of the hotel and animals. What a personal touch! We tried the on site restaurant, but enjoyed other local ones nearby better for lower costs. The beds were comfortable and we thought our stay was great for a reasonable price. Thank you!

My Fave Hotel
Was a shame the jacuzzi was too high on chlorine the 2nd & 3rd day as we only got 1 shot on our arrival day. Sausages at breakfast were really bad so i think you need to change brand. Apart from this, its my favourite hotel to go & relax especially as i had been ill before ny trip & was in recovery.

Comfy place to stay.
The rooms are well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are similarly well appointed. Tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge in each room. Plenty of parking. Never had the opportunity to use the spa so can’t comment on that. Sad to say the last two stays the breakfast left a lot to be improved upon which I have fed back to the staff so it’s not keyboard warrior time. Will stay again but go elsewhere for breakfast.

It was good....
Nice rooms, comfortable bed, we had a privilege room and the sofa was very uncomfortable, there was also only one chair to eat at the table (we had room service). Bath was a bit grubby but besides that everything was clean and tidy. We didn't have a hairdryer in our room and the main light didn't work for most of the night. We had breakfast, it was tasty, however it was a buffet, I didn't expect that for a 4*. Food was cold. We used the leisure facilities, they were really good. There was a big event in the room and we didn't hear anything so we had a nice peaceful night.

Great Hotel for family
Stayed for 2 nights with our 6 month old child. Hotel Staff were very helpful and we very with the hotel in general. The only fault is the carpets could be updated

Unfortunately my daughter nearly got badly scalded as the hot water in the shower went so hot & you couldn’t turn it down! There was hot water coming out the cold taps! The receptionist wasn’t really interested when we complained.

Standards have slipped.
Stayed here a few times and was to say this one wasn’t as enjoyable as previous stays. Had a couple of issues which I raised at the time with the staff so this isn’t a keyboard warrior review. Was put in an accessible room which was ok. Issue with the shower in the wet room over flowing into the whole of the bathroom and out into the bedroom. Told the receptionist as I left for the morning asked the evening receptionist on my return was told it was fixed. Lo and behold the following morning the shower overflow was worse. Breakfast wasn’t good on either day I stayed as I said stayed here previously and probably will again next month hoping the standards of service and quality of breakfast improves.

Bed & breakfast
Overnight stay as had a party in aberdeen. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Having to cue for 1 coffee machine, also having stand to toast your bread 3 times over as the machine didn’t work properly was frustrating. There appeared to be plenty staff on, so why they couldn’t have come with pots of tea and coffee and a rack of toast I’m unsure, but would have certainly eased to congestion in the small room where all the breakfast items were set up.

Let down by breakfast
Room was great, food was great, the only disappointment was the breakfast experience and in particular the coffee. I don't mind queuing for a buffet breakfast - which was very nice and lots of choice, but info object to having to queue for coffee, one cup at a time, which you can't get at the same time as your food, and was pretty crap coffee anyway. We sat down as no one explained it was self service, then we went to get food (through two rooms) and realised you had to also take your empty tea cup with you... so we got hot food and went back to the table, had no time to go back with cup and queue at a machine for coffee because the food would have gone cold. Surely in a 4 star hotel you can be served with a cafetière or pot of tea which serves more than one cup. Six of us in our party had to keep getting up and down, through 2 rooms to queue for one cup at a time.

No workable showers
Terrible stay went to have a shower and was scalded.went to reception to inform them and was told they know about it as the pump was broken and was not possible to get cold water. In the middle of getting dressed in morning and maid just walked straight in with out knocking.Told reception complaints in morning but would have been better talking to the wall.

What a memoriable experience in a very comfortable and spacious room. Spacious rooms, reasonable rate and friendly staff. Would recommend this stay if in the area. Beautiful grounds and well played out walk or running trails around the property.

We enjoyed our Stay and added an extra Night and I had amended Travel plans slightly and was immediately resolved by Hotel and so Thankful and impressed by this.The Staff here are outstanding and the thoughtfulness shown to Us with a Disability was made our visit to this fabulous and unique Hotel something are so touched by Thank You to Jessica the most efficient and understanding Receptionist We have met and was there throughout most of Our Stay and same to Vicky Liam and Anne.Recommend this Hotel and Area.
