”Great situation for the shops just a 5/10 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is good. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean the only thing that is a let down is the bathroom it’s a bit outdated found the shower slippy and no where to put your shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and full cooked breakfast is very good and hot. Didn’t have dinner was not keen on the menu but it might be good for others but not me. ”I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. ”Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

”The host was very hospitable. There was a living room/dinning room area for guest to use, complete with a small fridge to keep food. There was a well functioning TV in the bedroom as well as one in the common space. The beach was walking distance and if you like soccer they have a league very close to catch a game. The beach is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and shops along the waterfront. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back to visit here again.”

” This was not just a castle BnB, this was a real authentic experience back in time. We were warmly welcomed by the Baroness Nicola and her husband and were instantly brought back in time. The Castle was beautifully decorated. We had a very large room with a 4 poster bed and a large bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. ”Alison and Hugh are superb hosts and went out of their way to make us feel át home'in their beautiful house in Lossiemouth. Further, they were both so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed Hugh's cooking! We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The house itself is ideally located only 2 minutes to nearby restaurants, coffee and the idyllic beach. We would highly recommend Lossiemouth House to future guests and look forward to staying again soon! ”
