”It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.”

”Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.”

”Schöne Küche, Zimmergröße ok (Familienzimmer). Aber: sehr dreckig. Auf dem Heizkörper im Zimmer war ein Fleck mit Erbrochenem (? Annahme), welches sich auch auf dem Teppichboden befand. Der Türcode für das Zimmer befindet sich gut sichtbar für alle im Flur an der Pinnwand. Somit haben wir uns nicht sicher gefühlt. Es war kein Personal vor Ort. Wir mussten telefonisch erst einmal die Zugänglichkeit zum Zimmer klären. ”

”The owners are something else, they really invest in the guests, planning together what to do, to cook, to attend. Its a cozy place where you can walk barefooted and strike a good conversation with everyone on site. You feel welcomed. Try their homemade jam. Yummy.”

”Small room with single bed but clean, comfortable and quiet with en-suite. Student accommodation so you know what you are getting but much better than I expected. Good comfortable stay and the communal kitchen facilities including fridge and freezer are great for a flexible, longer stay. For the price great value for money.”

”Set on the coast near a small bay, with own parking area. Large modern communal kitchen and dining area, well equipped for self catering , clean and smart facility with separate sitting room. Ideal for singles or families as a base for a restful break. Disabled shower requires hooks to hang towel and clothes. ”

”The new rooms ensuite are brilliant. The Youth Hostel is literally only 15 minutes away from the main shopping street. Staff are very friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience.”

”Fantastic building amenities. I had a great view and loved the space. It was great to have a gym and laundry. It was noisy at night because of the nightclubs close by. The building itself was very quiet. Communication with Charles hope was not very good. It took a while to get answers, if at all. ”
