”This was an interesting experience! I've long thought that capsule hotels would work in London and other UK cities - and airports! I stayed one night for work and knew what to expect so I was quite comfortable. The capsule was clean and as I'm quite short (perfect size, in fact) I could kneel and move around happily. At first I thought the fan a bit noisy, but it drowned out background noise of people moving about. The women's floor was quiet and everyone was very considerate, keeping shoes...

”Budget-friendly option with a great value for money. Very near King's Cross St. Pancras, lockers underneath bunk beds (have your own lock) and comfy bed. Thick duvet, comfy pillow and fresh sheets. 24h reception is key especially when you have no idea when you are arriving. Be it a budget transportation or just your ability to get stuck in odd situations that just happen while travelling. I had my own travel towel so didn't rent one. Shower was ok. ”Reception were helpful and clear at check in. I booked a Pod dorm and was the best experience of any hostel dorms I've stayed in. It was reasonably comfy and felt very private once inside. Other guests were quite respectful with noise. The only minor is that I had Pod 13 which is next to the sink and the person didn't move when I wanted to get out so had to squeeze past and wait until they were done until I can get to the locked drawer underneath.
