This accomodation features: Master bedroom with kingsize bed, luxury ensuite wet room and glazed doors to the terrace enjoying spectacular views to the north of the Highland Perthshire mountain range; a large, comfortable sitting room with seating for 10, a table for cards and board games, a large HD TV with blueray DVD player, freesat, Ipod dock, CD and radio and wifi broadband internet access; large dual aspect windows with views over the Scottish mountains to the north and farm paddocks to the south; a large and well equipped kitchen with an open pass over to the vaulted ceiling dining area with large oak dining table and chairs for 10, wood burning stove and south facing windows overlooking the farm paddocks to the south; a utility room with washing machine, dryer, clothes rail for outdoor coats and a shower for rinsing off if you’ve become particularly muddy, a downstairs WC/cloakroom, under-floor heating throughout the ground floor; an enclosed private garden and patio with picnic table, BBQ and reclining chairs; (first floor) a second master bedroom suite with superking bed, dual-aspect windows enjoying views over the Scottish Highlands and farm paddocks and a luxury ensuite bathroom; a Mamas & Papas cot in the vestibule if required; bedroom 3 with kingsize bed, walk-in wardrobe and Juliet balcony with views to the north over the valley to the mountains, bedroom 4 with twin beds, wooden cot and views to the farm paddocks, a modern family bathroom.

Croit na Greine - Wonderful Accomodation

Very nice, clean and spacious accomodation. We were two familes, eight in total and had ample space. The cottage has everything that you need for your holiday. I particularly enjoyed walking in the farm in the early morning with very nice views and tranquil environment. The owner is very helpful and also provides good advice on places to visit. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and hope to return in the future.

Christmas Cracker!

We spent a lovely Christmas week in this property. We received a super welcome from Becky and felt at home immediately. The reception rooms were tastefully decorated for Christmas. The house benefits from cosy underfloor heating on the ground floor as well as a log burning stove which we did not need to light as the weather was so mild. The whole property is incredibly spacious with delightful fittings and fixtures all of the best quality. All bathrooms are very spacious. One has a very large bath. The downstairs bedroom has an en-suite wet room which is lovely and warm. The sitting room has plenty of space for ten people to gather in comfort. Family meals were enjoyed around the table in the beautiful light kitchen/dining room with its floor to ceiling windows in the gable end. Becky had provided us with a super Christmas hamper full of delicious Scottish goodies including home made preserves and natural cosmetic products and chocolates. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Bed linen is stylish and of excellent quality. Lighting is also good. Even slippers are provided. The property is ideal for families of all ages or groups of friends and I would say that this is one of the best houses of its type in Scotland. "The bagpipers" West of England

Beautiful spacious high standard accomodation

The idea of a semi-detached holiday home might put some visitors off. Please don't be. This house is a spacious, tastefully decorated, beautiful home. Although it is luxurious it is very comfortable and practical. The situation of the house is magnificent where every view is breath taking. As this is a working farm it was lovely to see the animals so close but they were not intrusive. The land around the house gives access to either easy or more challenging walks. The rope swing in the trees was great fun for all ages from O.A.P. down to our 11 year old. Aberfeldy has lots for families to do. The new swimming pool build in the new Community School is beautiful and only a few minutes drive away. The owners of the property were very friendly and polite and although the property is part of their family home we did not feel that they were obtrusive in any way. We also used the small cottage on the property which was not as grand as the large house but equally lovely and comfortable with again fantastic views. A LUXURIOUS RETREAT

First of all let me start by saying do not let the idea of a semi-detached holiday home put any prospective holiday visitor off! This is a beautifully expansive and luxurious home furnished with taste, generosity, and above all else, practicality. Apart from being spacious and light the views from every window were truly magnificent. The large, north facing windows framed a series of dramatic, snow-capped mountains. The owners whilst being friendly and helpful were unobtrusive and polite and very efficient to respond to any query. The location of this lovely home (and it is more a home than a holiday home) is just perfect for any couples and/or large familes wishing to escape from it all. Whilst being only 2 miles from Aberfeldy, there is plenty of activities conveniently to hand. Aberfeldy and Dunkeld offer restaurants, places of interest and dramatic riverside views. The scenery around Glen Lyon is highly recommended and not too far away. In just one week our activities included hill-walking up two Munros; attending and hosting dinner parties with local friends (Scottish hospitality at its best); dining out and visiting the Birnam Institute for a comedy gig. From this charming home any visitior can do as little or as much as they wish and feel completely refreshed and recharged at the end of their stay. Highly recommended. The photos of Croit na Greine simply cannot measure up to the beauty of this farm house.

a great place inside & out- stunning views

We loved this beautiful & spacious house - enjoyed the swing hidden in the woods behind! It is ideally located for walking, sightseeing, white water rafting etc. We visited Crannog Centre, Cluny Gardens, Acharn waterfalls and enjoyed cycling (though only one of our party attempted the trip down into Aberfeldy & back up again!) The owners were very welcoming and friendly, quick to resolve any issues. We hope to be back as there is loads more to do in the area and I dare you to find a better place to stay!
