Tämä ihastuttava kivirakennettu mökki sijaitsee Aberfeldyn keskustassa, kauniissa markkinat kaupungissa, joka sijaitsee Skotlannin sydämessä. Mökki sijaitsee pihalla muutaman metrin päässä pääkadulta pienelle kaistalle ylöspäin. Sitä ympäröi korikappale ja se nauttii yksityisyydestä pienessä suljetussa aidatussa puutarhassa. Kiinteistön sivussa on tilaa autolle.
Siellä on kolme kahden hengen makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta, joissa tilava olohuone ja mukava keittiö / ruokailutila. Palovamman ympärillä on runsaasti säilytystilaa ja mukava suojaisa alue.
Aberfeldy on yksi viehättävimmistä Skotlannin läänistä, jossa on runsaasti ulkoilua (golf, kalastus, kävely, melonta, pyöräily) seikkailunhaluisille ja elokuvateatteri kaupungissa. Oh my goodness, we absolutely loved our stay in the Carriage House in Aberfeldy. Sometimes photos just can't accurately reflect the loveliness of a property, and this is one of those times. We LOVED everything about our stay in Aberfeldy, which turned out to be the perfect home base for exploring the stunning Scottish Highlands. From attending the Northern Meeting bagpipe competition in Inverness to Glencoe to Inveraray to the fabulous 3-star Michelin restaurant at Glenturret distillery, EVERYTHING was perfect. The Carriage House was a fabulous home for us, with a well-stocked and large kitchen (with a very cool potato "masher"), super comfortable beds, luxurious showers, and a garden that served as our morning coffee spot and welcomed us home every evening. And being right in town was the best! Colin was a gracious host - meeting us upon our arrival with tips and lots of great instructions as to how we might best enjoy our stay. This was one of our favorite vacations ever! We will return.

The entire house, especially the kitchen, could benefit from a thorough cleaning and removal of the owner’s personal items when rented.One of the reasons we had rented this property was that the listing stated that there was a washer and a dryer. At check-in we were informed that the dryer did not work. If you are not going to fix the dryer, best to not name it as an amenity. The living room is very cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed wine and cheese in the yard watching the birds.

Cottage au centre village

Le Cottage est situé au centre Aberfeldy, très pratique pour les courses . Le Cottage a un étage à prendre en compte. Sinon tout le confort est prévu, merci à notre hote Colin ! On recommande le restaurant Three Lemond à pieds et en voiture le Inn Tay ainsi que Errichel et Thyme. Il faut compter 1h de route avant de visiter château et site mais ça se fait..à gauche !

Amazing stay! Highly recommend

I stayed at the Coach House for almost 2 months. During this time, my mother and sister visited, three girlfriends visited, and my husband stayed with me most of the visit. It worked perfectly for all of us. The Garden is truly delightful and the cottage is charming, comfortable, with modern amenities. Colin was a delight and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Aberfeldy is a lovely Highland town, great base for exploring. The best VRBO property I’ve encountered.

Fabulous Stay in Aberfeldy!

We enjoyed our stay in Aberfeldy immensely. The property was beautiful, clean, modern, and in the heart of the village. We could walk to everything, including the Co-Op for a few groceries. Excellent, friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us the grand tour. This was by far the best of the VRBOs we stayed in. Would definitely return.

Coach House Review

This house has a great location within the heart of the town making it very accessible for all the local amenities. As it is tucked away from the main road it was very quiet and relaxing. It’s a great family house to stay in with everything provided. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house close the centre of Aberfeldy

The Coach House is a very spacious and well equipped holiday house which makes a great base for exploring the local area. We particulrly like the relatively large kitchen/diner which allowed our family to socialise and to eat together. The small private garden and covered area was great for the children to play in.

Gorgeously restful

Colin was so helpful, from an early check in after a long overseas journey to helping us find a garage mid week for our car . He was very prompt in replying and we all had the feeling that it was really important to Colin that we all felt at home, had everything we needed and would have a restful, fun time. The location in the village centre is very quiet , we enjoyed the ozpig and the bottle of wine in the fridge. Thank you Colin, we hope to return and wish you the very best. Only request - a lock on the downstairs bathroom door 😆

Superb holiday

Very nice property, an old coach house & very nicely furnished in a style that’s appropriate to the cottage. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of extras. Comfortable beds & bunk beds in 3rd room 3/4 bed size, 2 kids could sleep in one. An adult slept in one ok in out group. Area gorgeous & plenty to do. Plenty good places to eat too. A beautiful garden with sitting area. Will definitely return.

Fantastic

Stayed with niece and my cousins kids and the owner met us and gave us such a warm welcome and a tour of the property which was a lovely touch. Great location and short walk into the town of Aberfeldy. Lovely property and great space inside. Plenty of room for 3 children and 2 adults. Ideal location for travelling anywhere and good local amenities. Would definitely recommend and would lobe to stay again

Long cycling weekend

Wonderfully helpful host and fabulous cottage. The location is central but very private. The cottage has a lovely warm, welcoming feel and the amenities are truly excellent. A lot of thought and consideration has obviously been given. I really couldn’t recommend more.

Perfect base for sights of central Scotland

Beautiful, comfortable and extremely well-equipped cottage. Centrally located in the pretty , small town of Aberfeldy with many local amenities and a fantastic array of easily accessible walks. The covered area in the sheltered garden, complete with wood-burning ‘Ozpig’ was perfect for chilled evenings. Highly recommend for a relaxing and recuperative, family holiday.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Fantastic home from home, so well equipped and spacious. Garden space lovely too, with covered area to sit in, whatever the weather. Aberfeldy itself also lovely for a quiet relaxing break. Would recommend.

Lovely, quality place to stay

We highly recommend this lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable and warm. Colin the host was very helpful and the outside seating area he has created is a perfect oasis. Hard to believe it is so central. We had a lovely break and the house is well located for exploring the wider area too. We would definitely visit again.
