”Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away. I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times. Lovely huge front porch under the oak trees with porch swings and sofas….. I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak...

”The hotel was dated but clean and quiet and reasonably priced. A good selection of fast food restaurants and Walmart nearby. Staff was always courteous and helpful. The only issue we weren't happy with was the bed. It was very, very hard and we both were in pain during the nights and stiff and sore each morning. Overall, a good deal for the money. The bed was our only negative experience.”

”I didn’t know where exactly the place was? It was dark. I didn’t expect to be on a gravel, so I was a little worried. The host was great. She continued to guide me to the cottage. Now I pick at myself for being bougie and when saw the place. I was IN the Bayou! The place was cute. Loved it!!! Peaceful wish I could’ve stayed longer. Will be back!!”

”Upon arriving the staff was very helpful and were even more considerate to change my mom and nieces room to a double with no issues. They were courteous and we had no trouble with staff. Even had a tasty breakfast. The only issues we had were in the room the air conditioner was leaking onto the carpet and the door didnt seem like it closed all the way. We had to tug it to close it fully. The carpet could be the reason the room smelled a bit and there were orange stains under the nightstand on...

”Good pool which was outside. Room spacious not serviced every day. Air conditioning very good. Good beds, frig and microwave. Fairly clean room. A lot of smaller insects flying about that would get into drinks during breakfast. Breakfast was ok with hot items, waffles and typical coffee, milk and juice to drink. Cereal, oat meal, grits all from packets. Bananas and apples, yogart. I noticed several apples were turning bad in bowl. The front desk staff were really good and very helpful! ...

”There was no WiFi. There wasn’t a coffee maker or cups. When checking out, the woman behind the glass said that the Health Department instructed them to remove cups and coffee makers and irons. I didn’t understand this. I could not get into the lobby: it was locked. I had to do everything through a teller-like window. This made me think that this was not a safe place. I expected much better from a Wyndham-sponsored hotel and was very disappointed. The beds were clean. The woman was nice.”
