”We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rapid City for one week. Overall, the property was nice, and we appreciated the warm cookies offered in the evening as well as the lemon ice water available in the lobby. Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, stepped on something while barefoot in our room and cut his foot. We couldn’t find what caused the injury at the time, but after returning home, an ER doctor removed a small piece of glass from his foot. This...

”Stayed here in Rapid City for a week while a family member had a medical procedure. Check in was easy and proce matched online booking. No fault to the staff but the first room the fridge did not work. Second room, wasnt clean at all. Finally landed in a 3rd room and upgraded me for the hassle. ”Dumpy hotel with very dated furnishings. Breakfast was bagels and things from Walmart, so not great. Comforter was hard and seemed unclean. We used the extra blanket and removed the comforter.”

”Only two lights in the whole room, didn’t have one on my side of bed. Very few plug ins. No mirror except in bathroom. Refrigerator froze everything. At breakfast the juice machine was broken & nothing done to replace that (i.e jug of juice) Waffle batter machine broken. Had to pour batter out of jug. Area not clean. This was rated as good? Not impressed.”

No elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, difficult to get to 2nd floor. Free breakfast should have been listed as limited continental, consisting of coffee, cereal & a do it yourself waffle maker. The locks on the back & side entrances were broken, so propped open with a rock.”
