Room was clean, staff were great and the hotel had all the amenities that you require, my only negative point is that I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in my room but it is common across Europe not to have this

The check in was a breeze. The breakfast was the typical breakfast in Italy with Italian cakes, cut up fruits, sliced local Kraft type cheese, yogurt, Italian croissants (home made), toast bread, and Italian cookies. A pleasant stay in a comfortable and well-equipped B and B 10 mins from the town centre while walking the Via Francigena. You can also get an evening meal cooked for you and there is the usual Italian style breakfast.
