”We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.”

”The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was really good. The room we had was on the front with a big window which was lovely but had to draw curtains for privacy in day. The only criticism was that there was a slight sewer type smell on arrival going up the stairs to the room and also in the morning in the bathroom but otherwise we had a lovely one night stay.”

”The accommodation was clean and spacious. The decor is quite dark, but probably because of the dark beams. The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. I understand the stafff are busy, but a simple’hello, we’ll be with you in a minute’ would be nice. We didn’t see any members of staff as the breakfast is a completely self service buffet. ”The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!”

”This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.”

”Don’t often leave reviews but if you want a break from the Monday to Friday hotel life, this place is ideal. Was greeted as soon as I arrived and offered a choice of rooms. The room had a massive bed and a seating area, plenty of tea and coffee and was offered fresh milk which I accepted. Breakfast was made to order, had a beautifully presented fruit salad, followed by a great fry up made with quality ingredients. Even the WiFi was great ”
