”We had a great time in Lake Placid. The apartment is beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was only a 5 minute drive to the busy downtown restaurant and shops. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning since we were there for a lacrosse tournament in the summer. They had fans and it cooled down pretty well in the evening. ”We stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. The apartment has an awkward layout with both bathrooms being only accessible from the living area.Everything is old and well used. Mattresses are not comfortable, etc. The shower had mold in the corners, but everything functioned.This unit is located on the 3rd floor with a lot of stairs to get to it. That is really not stated clearly. If you have mobility issues, I would think twice.It is located in an excellent part of town, walking distance to all...

”We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us.”

We appreciated having the variety of amenities to be easily able to prepare our own food. A great space for our family of 4. Very convenient location, just a short walk over the hill through a lovely neighborhood to get to town. Highly recommend this place! ”
