Purdy lodge is an older property but is well maintained and kept clean and fresh. Don't let the main road put you off, we didn’t hear any road noise as the rooms are facing the beautiful scenery at the back. Look out for the wonderful wild hares, bouncing around the fields. Hotel was spotless and generally spectacular. Major issue was not being able to get a lounger at the spa, and when mentioned to the spa staff very little was done to help (there were many loungers not being used, and proper policing would have made this more enjoyable for all) A handful of others ...
