”peaceful stay at the house of a local dutch lady who was very helpful and pleasent . the room was very basic and all i really needed as i was out most of the day of my 4 day visit . sezane has a lovley little dog called "pomy" which i hope is well xxx kisses from across the sea pomy . the area was fantasic as it was very close to the museum quarter , but you can only get tickets online to the VAN GOGH museum which i missed ill get there next time ”

Short and nice walk to most beautiful are of town called Jordaan, or the bit more rugged but trendy De Pijp. And if you are at all used to walking places in a big city, also it walkable to the old city center De Wallen as well. Boat trips depart right next to the hotel as well. So location wise this place really has value to the money you pay. Place itself is now new and shiny, but still nice...

”Adoramos a estadia no Avani! Quarto espaçoso com janela enorme e linda vista para o canal. Banheiro também espaçoso. Cama confortável, quarto super silencioso, conveniência no térreo bastante útil, muito próximo aos museus, e também conseguimos ir a pé para a maioria dos passeios. ”

Paper walls as they say, but the crowd is mostly peoplenwho are past the party age so you mainly hear it when people move around the halls and it can be fixed with earplugs. "
