”When we arrived the lobby smelled of BO. The carpeting in the hallways was disgusting. The second floor smelled like weed. The room was disgusting, I didn’t even take my socks and shoes off. The linens looked clean but the bed was so hard and uncomfortable! I almost just slept in my car.”

”I loved having a room with an outdoor space, and it's wonderful that this hotel is completely pet-friendly. When my dog was afraid to go on the elevator, Adam at the front desk helpfully moved me to a first-floor room. The hotel has its own private beach access, and the pool area is very nice, with plenty of options for kids and adults. I forgot my beach chair, but they work with a vendor that provides beach chairs and umbrellas and lets you charge them to your room, so you don't have to carry...

”The staff were friendly, efficient and responded quickly to any issues. The pool was amazing, very clean as was the hot tub. My complaint is with the entry/exit doors on the North building. Between the wind and occupants not closing the doors gently, all you heard up until midnight was the slamming of those doors. It was very loud and kept us up most of the night. We reserved 2 rooms for our party of 4, thinking they would be next to each other but that was not the case. One room only had...

”Great location and amazing staff!! If you get a dunes view stay, you are literally looking at a hill of cactus and weeds.. like a wall in front of you. Ask for a floor above 2. The breakfast is okay. Vending for snacks , ice and vending for drinks are all on different floors. Parking is tight. Very clean! Room was spacious. The bathroom is terrible !”

”There are so many bugs! Yes the resort is set in the woods but we didn't expect so many bugs in the rooms! Everything from spiders to rolly bugs to flies.No room service which was surprising for a Hilton and the front desk doesn't tell you. If you open the entry door be quick to close it otherwise the smoke detector goes off due to the quick temperature change. Pool towels had to be checked out and returned from the indoor pool. Otherwise it was nice to have a beach parking lot and the outdoor...
