”My husband and I arrived with our bikes and enthusiasm! We hiked at Mannawaska State Park, and swam in their lovely lake as well. There are bike paths just near their home. Our hosts Anat and Jaime were lovely and attentive to our needs. The comfort of having a great sleep could be had due to the bed which was very comfortable! We had a fabulous time hiking, swimming, biking and relaxing.”

”A wonderful pet- friendly rental! We drove from NC to stay on the lake and were very happy with this cute little cottage. Comfortable inside with great views outside. Overall a great space for entertaining family and friends or just chilling out for a bit. And our lab enjoyed herself too!”

”We had an excellent stay at Herb Cottage. It was charming and homey. Check in was simple, guidelines clear. Lots of privacy which was great! I will say that although you could walk to downtown Woodstock, there are no sidewalks and I personally would not have felt safe walking down the road to town, especially since there is little shoulder.”

”Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Wish we'd found it when our son started college in Poughkeepsie rather than for graduation!”

”Our family rented this property for a long weekend trip and had a great experience. We enjoyed the beauty of the local area, including some great local restaurants and coffee shops. We were snowed in for one day of our trip and enjoyed the coziness of the property and the full kitchen came in clutch to avoid needing to travel during the storm. ”

”I had pleasure of staying at Alysia and Russel’s beautiful and luxurious converted space above the garage surrounded by nature. The space was immaculate and had everything I needed for my three day stay. I came for a weekend workshop at the very nearby Omega Institute. ”Lovely two weeks in the carriage house on the Croton River. Hosts Patrick and Kathryn were attentive and helpful, the area was full of fun adventures for my husband, a cyclist, and me (jogger and kayaker). Swimming in the Croton from the dock was so great, especially on warm days. Kayaking in the Croton was peaceful and full of fun water birds.”

”This cottage is perfect! Clean and comfortable, with every amenity covered, with such lovely touches as fresh flowers and farm-fresh eggs! The highlight was the view from the overlook -- breathtaking in the late spring and probably every season! Maureen is a perfect host -- precise directions and instructions, and a level of thoughtfulness that goes above and beyond. I look forward to staying there again! ”
